This class is designed to meet the developmental and educational needs of 7th grade students through the study of reading, writing, listening, and speaking. Study includes the areas of vocabulary, composition, reading and interpreting, and grammar.
The curriculum is based on the Pennsylvania Grade 7 standards through the use of novels, workbooks, (with various poems, short stories, nonfiction essays and articles), and supplementary materials. The pace of the class is determined by the students’ comprehension and retention of the curriculum.
